How to maximize your season of visitation

Image
How to maximize your season of visitation 2 Corinthians 3:17  Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty [emancipation from bondage, true freedom]. This passage opens our understanding to the fact that the Spirit of God is a Lord Spirit, and as with a king, the Spirit determines when to move and act. Ecclesiastes 8:4 tells us that  the word of a king is authoritative and powerful, And who will say to him, “What are you doing?” But beyond the fact that the Spirit of God decides when, where, and how to move, many factors can influence the move of God's Spirit, and I'll highlight just a few here. 1. The alignment of the vessel:  The greatest challenge of God across the ages has always been the availability of vessels. It's difficult, except by God's mercy, for vessels to sustain the same level of alignment and yieldedness every time. And because not all possibilities are attainable at every level of alignment, the Spirit ...

Behind closed doors

In every seed is a potential plant and in every plant are potential seeds. This is a multi-level dimension dynamic that many people, institutions, and organizations have understood and employed. It is the brain behind many multi-level marketing schemes.  If a seed has this potential, yet it remains alone in your hand, then what happens to it when it's buried, that it comes out multiplied?   This can be likened to the ideas and visions in your head that you have allowed the spider of procrastination to build cobwebs over.  Except those ideas are brought into time, by way of execution, they remain in the realm of imagination. A seed in the ground is more active than it is outside the soil. In that soil, the seed goes through the four-stage dynamics of death , burial , resurrection , and ascension . Most times, we are only aware of the life-giving factor of a seed, but forget to find out how the interplay goes on underground. Welcome to the scene behind clos...

"...even as thy soul prospereth."

Have you ever wondered why God used the parameter of your spiritual health as the fundamental determinant of your health and wealth? Man as we rightfully know is a tripartite entity possessing a soul, a spirit, and a body.  In as much as the body is the physical agency that carries out the impulse and dictates of the man, the soul; which is the intermediary between the spirit and the body; has to be in alignment with the spirit, for the activities of the body to profit God and His kingdom. Did I just say profit God? or was I simply at loss for thos are words?  You heard me correctly.  God, profits from our lives.   If God truly profits from our lives, does that mean that He invested in some way or the other in our lives? Because profit, as we all know, is an expected endproduct of investment. Remember, Ephesians 1:18(AMP) says  "And [I pray] that the eyes of your heart [the very center and core of your being] may be enlightened [flooded with light by...

Wants vs Needs

Philippians 4:19 [19]But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Wants and needs are two diverse expressions of desires for something. While Wants are desires for goods and services we would like to have but do not need, Needs are a special kind of want, and refer to things we must have to survive, such as food, water, and shelter. Paul was categorically clear in his address to the church in Philippi as to what class of their desires God was committed to supplying.  Whenever man's needs are mentioned, only three primary concerns come to mind. Food, shelter, and clothing.  Adam Smith, a Scottish economist, philosopher, and author, who is also considered the father of modern economics, taught us that man's needs are insatiable. And by insatiable, he was painting a scenario where an appetite or desire for something was impossible to satisfy. This means, the more you have it, the more you want to have more of it. If this narrative...
